[ She shakes it off and sighs after a moment, reaching to ruffle his hair and those wet feathers in it. ]

Bath first. If I have to chase you down with a scrub brush, I will.

Well, maybe if you're involved a bath wouldn't be that bad.

[ She takes a moment to stretch with that, lifting her arms and cracking her fingers above her head, and her wings stretch as well, small things that fit her. Her arms fall back to her side easily enough and she reaches to cup her hand against his cheek. ]

I think that can be arranged.

[ She says as though she hadn't already decided to keep him good and well in her sight for a while. ]

We're bathing at my place, though. I'm not sure they'd let us in at the bath houses.

[ She wrinkles her nose at him with that, but she's smiling. ]

Taking me home already? Aren't your roommates gonna complain?

Your home is with me.

[ She leans down and brushes her nose against his before stealing a brief kiss. ]

I'm sure we'll be able to work something out.

Okay. But I want my own room!

[chichichi]

That's fine. We've got plenty of them, but our previous house arrangements will remain the same. No but's.

[ She's going to have to hire a maid for his room and the common spaces, but she already knew that. She just has to run it past the rest of the household, which... well, she'll handle them.

She finally moves to stand and extend her hand to him. ]

You're being real nice to a guy who just got in the middle of you and your boyfriends.

Boyfriends?

[ The confusion on her face is sudden and genuine, her train of thought abruptly stopped and turned. ]

What are you talking about? I don't have any boyfriends.

[ She wiggles her fingers. Take her hand. ]

Harem? [He asks, and takes her hand.]

[ And she is hoisting him a good foot up from the ground and onto his feet as though it's nothing despite the difference in their heights. ]

I don't have a harem. Where are you getting this from?

Oh, I've seen all those pretty boys of yours!

[chichichi]

[ She isn't surprised he's been watching her. She's been watching him from day one, after all. Set familiars to keep an eye on him and checked in through theirs naturally, but this is -- ]

I don't have any boys.

[ Clearly some sort of misunderstanding. ]

You're going to need to be more specific. You've clearly gotten the wrong idea to be using those terms.

What, you don't sleep with any of them?

[ Has she let go of his hand? No. ]

I've slept with plenty of people throughout my life. That doesn't make them my boyfriend, girlfriend, or anything like a significant other.

[ It's that tone. ]

[ And she is reaching upward to grip the edge of his hat -- ]

[ -- and tug it down over where she knows those pretty blue eyes are behind his hair. ]

[He laughs, loud and amused. She's cute when she's playful.]

[chichichi]

[ She's missed that, this. The sound of his laughter is a particular sort of music to her ears. She heaves a sigh, fond, not that he can see her expression at the moment. ]

If you've been watching me, then you know where we [ yes, we as in Lewin also ] live. [ Wait for it. ] I want a ride there.

[ On his shoulders. He should know by now. She's not asking. She's absolutely about to circle and climb up there. ]

You gonna make me carry you? [He asks, adjusting his posture slightly to make it easier to sit up on his back.]

Isn't there some tradition somewhere about a husband carrying his wife across the threshold?

[ She knows there is. She knows where it's prevalent. She knows it's a one time thing for newly weds. She doesn't care. She likes to be tall and she likes being tall that much more when it's her husband making her as much.

She hops off the ground to climb up on top of his shoulders and shifts a bit to get comfortable. Boobs against the top of his head? Boobs against the top of his head. He did not marry a woman with a small bosom. ]
